Keep Tyler Beautiful invites artists to submit artwork for 100th Beauty and the Box
Keep Tyler Beautiful began the Beauty and the Box program in 2016 to take utilitarian traffic boxes and transform them into works of art by local artists. What started as a pilot program of ten boxes in the Downtown Business Arts and Culture District has grown to 95 vinyl-wrapped traffic cabinets across the City of Tyler.
Local artists are invited to submit artwork to be considered for the 100th box, with an “All things Keep Tyler Beautiful” theme. This milestone box will be sponsored by Keep Tyler Beautiful, and the winning artist will receive a $250 stipend.
