Keep Tyler Beautiful wants you to ‘bee-ready’ for Bee Day in the Garden

Keep Tyler Beautiful will host the 4th Annual Bee Day in the Garden on Saturday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Goodman-Legrand Museum and Gardens, located at 624 N. Broadway Ave. This event will be the culmination of National Pollinator Week and celebrates our favorite pollinator, the honeybee.

Join us as we unveil the new home location for our bee observatory and dive into the fascinating world of bees and other pollinators. Discover their crucial role in our ecosystem and learn how you can make a difference. Our event offers something for everyone, including fun activities for children, talented face painters, and delicious food from local food trucks. Dive deeper into the buzz with educational workshops designed for those interested in beekeeping or creating their very own pollinator garden. Don’t miss out on this enlightening and engaging event for the whole community!

The City of Tyler is one of thirteen cities in Texas to be designated a Bee City USA, under the Keep Tyler Beautiful program. Our mission as an affiliate is to educate and raise awareness in the community on the importance of all pollinator species, including Honeybees.

All Bee Day in the Garden activities and educational workshops are free of cost.
