The East Texas State Fair will be held September 24th-October 3rd, 2021 at 2112 W. Front St. Tyler, TX 75702.

Of course, the famous midway will highlight all your favorites, and Food Row will feature tons of Fair Food. Come visit Food Row for lunch and receive FREE admission 11am-2pm Monday – Friday.

Several options are available including Adults $10 at the gate or $8 in advance. Youth (age 6-12) are $6. Children under 6 are free.

R.A.D. (Ride All Day) Carnival Wristbands are $28 at the fair and $20 in advance. You can Ride All Day with the R.A.D. Wristband! Just pay one price for an unlimited number of rides!

Monday – Thursday 4-10pm
Friday 4-11pm
Saturday – Sunday 12 noon – 11pm
*Last Sunday 12noon – 10pm

Special Days

Senior Day (September 24th 9am-12 noon): Enjoy great entertainment while sitting under the T-Mobile community stage tent. Visit the commercial exhibits and photography show next door. Take a walk through the food row, creative arts show, and enjoy great attractions. We are offering free admission into the fair for ages 60+ until 7:00 pm. Come enjoy the fair attractions and exhibits!

UT Tyler Day (Sepember 30th 2-7pm – free admission for all college students): The University of Texas at Tyler invites all college students to attend the East Texas State Fair with FREE admission on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Present your college or university ID (regardless of school) at the ticket booth to receive FREE admission until 7:00 pm featuring special performances by UT Tyler Spirit Squad and Jazz Ensemble.

Hay Show & Auction (September 23rd): The Howdy Neighbor Bar-B-Que will be held on September 23rd at 5:00 pm under the Community Stage Tent. Proceeds benefit ETSF Junior Livestock Show, East Texas Cattle-Ettes Scholarships, and Soil & Water Conservation District programs. This educational event for forage growers from Smith County and surrounding counties raises money for youth, conservation, and scholarships. There is a $3.00 entry fee. Click here to RSVP. Entry cards are available at all entry locations, NRCS Office on Republic Drive, or Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office on Front Street.

Live Music

Sea Lion Splash

Sea Lion Splash is a unique show that will have crowds cheering and laughing. It’s an educational show with a “splash.” The sea lions will amaze the crowd as they balance balls, shoot hoops, dance, perform stunts, and show their pretty smiles!

The Livestock

Over the next two weeks, more than 2,000 head of livestock will be exhibited in both Junior and Open shows from farms and ranches all across America. A fair tradition dating back over 100 years!

The East Texas State Fair is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes through the operation of an annual event promoting education, entertainment and the spirit of competition.
The Fair is committed to agricultural heritage,families and service to the community. Our mission is also to create commerce for Tyler and Smith County by providing venues for others to utilize and by drawing participants to the complex. Since 1992 the East Texas State Fair has offered $877,000 in scholarships.
