TJC Apache Belles Spring Show set for April 3-5

The Tyler Junior College Apache Belles have entertained audiences for over 75 years. They have served as TJC’s goodwill ambassadors, entertaining crowds at home and worldwide with their precision dance routines.

For their 2025 spring show, the Apache Belles will present “Note to Self,” a captivating showcase that conveys notes or lessons learned along the way. It will reflect different chapters of the Apache Belles’ lives through a blend of dance styles including contemporary, tap, hip hop, high kick and jazz.

Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, April 3-5, with a 2 p.m. Saturday matinee, in Wise Auditorium, located inside the Rogers Palmer Performing Arts Center on the TJC main campus.

Admission is $15 for all evening performances, $10 for the matinee. Tickets are on sale at TJC.edu/ApacheBelles. All seating is general admission.

The Apache Belles are under the direction of Happi Deason Byrne. Interim artistic director and choreographer is Lilly Capetillo. Byrne and Capetillo are both former Apache Belles themselves.

“I am so proud of this group of young ladies,” Byrne said. “They have been such an amazing group to watch this year. They have faced triumphs and challenges throughout the year and have accepted it all with such grace and poise.”
