TJC Science Center Adds a Dash of Science to your Holiday

Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for children, students and seniors (ages 65 and over). The science center is located at 1411 E. Lake St., on the TJC main campus. Parking is free. For the complete list of shows or to purchase advance tickets, go to sciencecenter.tjc.edu.

This year, add a dash of science fun to your holiday traditions by visiting the TJC Earth & Space Science Center! We have several winter-themed shows including the popular “Mystery of the Christmas Star,” and the holiday music show “Let It Snow.” We also have great winter-themed science shows such as “Mountain Adventure” in our holiday lineup.

Our special holiday hours begin Nov 25:

• During Thanksgiving Week, Nov. 25-30, center hours are 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Saturday.
• From Dec. 2 to 21, center hours are noon-4:30 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays and 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturdays.

• During Christmas Week, Dec. 23-28, center hours are 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Dec. 26-28.
• During New Year’s Week, Dec. 30- Jan. 4, center hours are 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec 30, and Thursday-Saturday Jan 2-4.
• The center will be closed Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Nov. 28 and 29; Monday-Wednesday, Dec. 23-25; New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.
