Introducing the inaugural Brick Street Revival Singer-Songwriter Festival at the Liberty Theater – a 2-night event featuring 4 prolific singer-songwriters sharing the stories behind the songs.
Wade Bowen has been a staple in the Texas Music Scene since he released his first record in 2002. Since his launch, he’s released 10 studio albums, played over 4,000 shows, and been recognized as Texas Radio Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year.
Sean McConnell is a Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, and producer with published songs for Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Brothers Osborne, Brett Young, Meatloaf, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town, and more. With his incredible songwriting ability, he has established himself as one of the most sought-after collaborators in the industry.
The Brick Street Revival Songwriter’s Workshop is a day-long dive into what makes a song great and how to write one. The workshop is designed for both beginning and seasoned songwriters, as well as for the song enthusiast, with a desire to examine and explore the building blocks of songwriting, including song structure, lyrical content, melodic composition and rhythm and tempo. Using song examples furnished by the participants, the workshop will be interactive with lecture and demonstration segments, with an immersive creative writing exercise for the participants to enjoy and share with the others in attendance.Topics include:
