Fun Forest Pool will open for the 2026 season on Saturday, June 6, giving families a fun, affordable way to cool off this summer.
Located at 900 N. Glenwood Blvd., Fun Forest Pool will open to the public at noon on opening day. Admission is $1 per session for City of Tyler residents and $3 per session for non-residents.
To help families make the most of the season, Tyler Parks and Recreation will offer 2026 pool passes. Each pass includes a total of 60 visits for up to four family members. Additional family members may be added for $5 each.

As part of the summer Movies in the Park series and the pool season kickoff, Tyler Parks and Recreation will host a free showing of Lilo & Stitch at Fun Forest Pool on Saturday, June 6. Gates will open at 8 p.m., and the movie will begin at 8:30 p.m.
Fun Forest Pool will also be available for private party rentals on select days. Rental information and the request form are available at Tyler Parks and Rec.com.
In addition to open swim, Tyler Parks and Recreation will offer several summer programs at Fun Forest Pool, including swim lessons, Senior Swim, and Aqua Buddies.
Swim lessons will return this summer in two-week sessions, with six lessons per session. Each session is $45, and pre-registration is required. More information and registration are available at https://bit.ly/FunForestPoolPrograms.
Senior Swim will take place every Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for adults 55 and up. Admission is free and no registration is required. Seniors can enjoy private pool time for exercise or leisure.
Tyler Parks and Recreation is also introducing Aqua Buddies, a parent-and-me aquatic class for children ages two to four. The class will focus on water comfort, safety, and introducing young children to the water. An adult age 21 or older must accompany each child. Each class is $15, and pre-registration is required at https://bit.ly/FunForestPoolPrograms.
