Santo Cuervo Taqueria, a new locally owned restaurant offering authentic Mexican cuisine, has opened at 203 Highway 110, Suite 1, in Whitehouse.
The menu includes a variety of tacos made with fresh ingredients, including ribeye, chicken, tuna, shrimp and zucchini.
The owners aim to bring a modern take on traditional taqueria offerings while maintaining bold, regional flavors.
Cecina (Cecina steak (round meat), Roasted cactus, macha sauce (peanuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds, oil and Morita chile), fried onion, fried potato and cilantro. Served with corn tortilla)
Cochinita Pibil (Pork marinated in achiote and citrus, slow-roasted in banana leaves, typically topped with pickled red onions and habanero salsa)
Prensado with Egg Quesadilla/Volcano (Crispy tortilla topped with seasoned meat, melted cheese, a fried egg, and fresh herbs)
Aguachile (Red, green or black)

Santo Cuervo is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and is closed on Sunday.
