Opening reception October 6, 2026, at Gallery Main Street
Tyler Art Lift will host the opening reception for TSHOW.2 on Tuesday, October 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Gallery Main Street in downtown Tyler. Admission is free. Guests can meet the artists, vote for the People’s Choice Award, enjoy live music by Caden Crawford and complimentary refreshments, and hear the award announcements at 6:30 p.m.
TSHOW.2 brings together work selected for an international juried exhibition of painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, printmaking and wall installations. Caleb Bell, Executive Director of the Tyler Museum of Art, serves as juror, and Dace Kidd curates the exhibition.
The show offers $5,000 in cash awards: $3,000 for Best in Show, $1,500 for Runner-Up and $500 for the People’s Choice Award. Visitors to the opening reception will select the People’s Choice winner by voting for their favorite work.
TSHOW.2 is the second edition of the Tyler Art Show and the 10th annual international juried exhibition in a series that began in 2017 as the Arcadia Art Show. It is organized by Tyler Art Lift, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and hosted by Gallery Main Street.
