On Sept. 19, the City of Tyler Downtown Department and Tyler Art Lift will host the 5th Annual Tyler Art Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Caldwell Arts Academy Field, along with the official grand opening of Art Alley.
The Art Alley grand opening will take place on the College Street side, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony beginning at 11:30 a.m. The celebration will also recognize the talented artists who have helped bring the space to life.
This year marks the third year of Art Alley, which continues to give talented local artists opportunities to share their work with the community. The art changes every three years, giving new and emerging creators the opportunity to showcase their talents.
The Tyler Art Festival will feature local artists and vendors, food vendors, live music, and fun activities for all ages. Attendees can enjoy face painting, pottery painting, balloon animals, and LEGO minifigure building.
