The 3rd Annual Downtown Tyler Arts Festival is taking place on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Downtown Tyler Square, hosted by the Main Street department and Tyler Art Lift, a non-profit organization designed to support local artists.
Artist registration is now open and available on the Tyler Art Festival Eventbrite page.
Artists who create and make their own art are encouraged to apply! Qualifying artists are those who sell original paintings, sculptures, photography, textiles, mixed media and more. No resellers and no mass-produced, unsigned works are allowed. The Tyler Art Festival is a wonderful opportunity for artists to advertise their work, generate revenue, and take part in a community event designed to celebrate and support the local art community that is blossoming in Tyler!
Artist booths are 10 ft. by 10 ft. and vary in price from $40 to $80. There is also an opportunity to select your space for an additional $10. Participants are responsible for their own setup (table, chairs, easels, other display set up, tent, etc.) on the day of the event.
Additional rules are as follows:
The festival will feature artist booths, a scavenger hunt, live music, live painting, a community canvas and more!
Tyler Art Festival is a free community event designed to increase our local artists’ visibility and attract people to Downtown Tyler. For more information, visit the 3rd Annual Downtown Tyler Facebook event or contact the Main Street team at mainstreet@tylertexas.com or (903)-593-6905.
