Opening Reception at Gallery Main Street for ‘Dog Days’ Jared Chapman
Friday, May 2nd, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

The opening reception at Gallery Main Street, ‘Dog Days’ Jared Chapman is presented in collaboration with the City of Tyler‘s Gallery Main Street. ‘Dog Days’ features the works by author-illustrator Jared Chapman and opens on Friday, May 2!
Join us 5-7 p.m. May 2nd for a family-friendly reception in the Plaza Tower Lobby on the Gallery Main Street wall.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Jared Chapman will be in attendance at Gallery Main Street, so feel free to bring your favorite book of his to be signed.
Jared Chapman is the author-illustrator of the popular books Vegetables in Underwear and Fruits in Suits. He is also the illustrator of Monty and the Mushrooms by Dev Petty and several other picture books.
Jared was born in Louisiana, grew up in Texas, went to college in Georgia, and now calls the piney woods of northeast Texas his home.
On Friday, May 16th, the Tyler Public Library will host a special reading event in the space at 11 a.m. This program is also free to attend.

Gallery Main Street offers Tylerites and the surrounding community the opportunity to view fine art created by area artists. It is located in the Plaza Tower lobby at 110 North College Ave., Tyler, TX. It is always free to visit and is open 8am-11pm daily.
