For babies to preschoolers: get ready to sing, make music, dance, and have fun.
Playday | Feb. 23 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Come-and-Go | Auditorium (First Floor)
For babies to preschoolers: families can spend time playing with toys, making art, and connecting with other families.
Storytime | Auditorium (First Floor)
For babies to preschoolers: listen to stories read aloud, sing songs, enjoy playtime, sensory play, and crafts.
Art Academy | Feb. 14 and Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor)
For Grades 5 to 12th: tweens and teens can sign up at www.TylerLibrary.com to make Styrofoam sculptures on Feb. 14 and a found objects collage on Feb. 21.
Black History Month Scavenger Hunt | All February
For Grades K to 12th: kids can learn about Black youth throughout history and today who have rocked the world! Scavenger stops will be located throughout the first floor. Children will receive a Black History Month bookmark upon completion.
Dungeons and Dragons Club | First and Third Tuesday at 5 p.m. | Auditorium (First Floor)
For Grades 8th to 12th: tweens and teens can sign up at www.TylerLibrary.com to join the quest.
Homeschool Libratory | Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor)
For Grades K to 6th: kids can learn about the power of electricity.
New Youth Volunteer Orientation | Feb. 29 at 5 p.m. | Auditorium (First Floor)
For tweens 12 years of age to teens in Grade 12: tweens and teens can sign up to become a Library youth volunteer by attending a required new volunteer orientation. Attendees will learn about volunteer opportunities, managing their volunteer timesheets, and more. Sign-up is required at www.TylerLibrary.com.
STEM Club with Code Ninjas | Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. | Auditorium (First Floor)
For Grades K to 12th: kids can join senseis from Code Ninjas Tyler to learn about the art of origami. Sign up to attend at www.TylerLibrary.com.
Teen Council | Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor)
For Grades 8th to 12th: teens can join to earn volunteer credit and influence Library teen programs! Sign up to attend at www.TylerLibrary.com.
Makerspace Activity | All February | Rover Cart (First Floor)
Each month, our Rover Cart features a STEAM-oriented activity for kids to do when they visit the Library. February will feature a Valentine’s Day-themed thaumatrope.
Take-Home Kits for Kids | Available Feb. 12 | Take-Home Kit Kiosk (First Floor)
Each month, children of all ages can pick up a fun, educational craft or project to take home. Kits are available as supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis. Kits are geared for the following age ranges:
Great Decisions | Feb. 15 at 5:30 p.m. | Auditorium (First Floor)
This lecture series kicks off on Feb. 15 and will continue for eight weeks.

Books and Bites Book Club | Last Saturday of Each Month at 11 a.m. | Auditorium (First Floor)
For February, participants can pick a book from the region they grew up in to discuss and are encouraged to bring a dish of any sort inspired by the book. We ask that attendees bringing food bring an ingredient list and be mindful of nut allergies.
Chess Club | First Saturday Each Month at 10 a.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor)

Club Read | Last Tuesday Each Month at 10:30 a.m. | Makerspace (Third Floor)
