Texas artist and Trinity University professor of art and art history Liz Ward will offer insights into her work with the program “Floating Life: Mississippi River Drawings” to launch the Tyler Museum of Art’s 2019 Summer Lecture Series on Sunday, May 19. Works from two of Ward’s major series are the focus of the TMA exhibition “Floating Life: Mississippi River Drawings by Liz Ward,” open to the public May 19-Aug. 25 in the Museum’s North Gallery.
