In rent.com‘s search for the best cities for pets, researchers analyzed the percentage of apartments in the rent.com database that were pet-friendly and allowed dogs or cats.
Researchers also looked at the average cost of veterinarian services in large metro areas with populations above 100,000 and the number of pet-related businesses and parks per capita. Then, rent.com ranked them accordingly. Arizona cities to make the ranking include Scottsdale at No. 6, Tucson and No. 19, Gilbert at No. 31, and Peoria at No. 34.

5. Tyler, TX
In eastern Texas, Tyler is known for its rose gardens and even has a museum dedicated to remembering the rich history of the town’s annual Texas Rose Festival.
