A few other fun places for Fido to play are:

  • Bergfeld Park (1510 S College Ave., Tyler, TX 75702) – Bergfeld Park is centrally located off Broadway Avenue and College Avenue, between Fourth and Fifth Street. This neighborhood park offers picnic areas, restrooms, tennis courts with pickleball striping, a playground, an amphitheater, and “Splasher” the Dolphin Fountain sprayground.   • Bossart Bark Park (3393 W. Grande Blvd., Tyler, TX 75703) – Bossart Bark Park is an eight-acre community dog park in Tyler, TX. This park has four different sections, two for large dogs and two for small dogs. They rotate on different days so that one of each is always available. The vast spaces offer trees, hills, benches, and even doggie fountains. Outside the fenced areas is a doggie bathing spot with a hose and a large tub.   • Breedlove Nursery & Landscaping (11576 State Hwy. 64, Tyler, TX 75704) – Breedlove Nursery & Landscape is a pet-friendly garden center in Tyler, TX. Your leashed pup is welcome to join you on the grounds as you explore their selections. Ask their knowledgeable staff about property maintenance, irrigation, and landscaping.   • Faulkner Park (410 W. Cumberland Rd., Tyler, TX 75703) – Faulkner Park is dog friendly. Faulkner Park Nature Trails has more than nine miles of trails where you can walk your leashed dog.   • Lucky Dog Park (15545 County Road 1134, Tyler, TX 75709) – Bring Fido to play with his pet companions at the Lucky Dog Park in Tyler, TX.   • Sunrise Paw Park (11415 County Road 166, Tyler, TX 75703) – Bring Fido to play at the fenced-in Sunrise Paw Park in Tyler, TX. This four-acre recreation space features two large dog areas and a separate small dog space. After Fido explores and socializes, you can pay to use the dog wash area to clean him up. Owners may also use the benches and pavilions to keep cool while watching their pups roam.   • Tyler State Park (789 Park Rd., Tyler, TX 75706) – Tyler State Park is a pet-friendly recreational hub in Tyler, TX. Your furry companion can tag along as you explore the area. The park features a 64-acre spring-fed lake, 100-foot tall trees, historic structures, and boating opportunities. Please ensure Fido remains on a leash during your stay. After all the outdoor fun, you can give Fido a bath at Gleaux Car Wash (6313 S. Broadway Ave., Tyler, TX 75701 location only).
