#SchoolisCool event returns on August 6

The 13th annual #SchoolisCool back-to-school celebration is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 6, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the W.T. Brookshire Conference Center and Rose Garden Center, located at 2000 W. Front St. and 420 Rose Park Dr.
The event helps children and parents prepare for the new school year by providing 2,000 free backpacks filled with school supplies to school-aged children on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Students must be present to receive a backpack.

Become a Donor or Sponsor – Every $60 will purchase a backpack with school supplies.
Platinum Sponsor – $2,500
- All of the gold benefits, plus
- Named as a major platinum sponsor on all marketing materials
- Insert in each backpack (printed materials and payment must be received by July 17)
Gold Sponsor – $1,000
- All of the silver benefits, plus
- Named as a gold sponsor on all marketing materials
- Signage near a backpack distribution location at the event

Complete your Immunization Forms
Anyone with insurance must contact the NETHealth office at (903) 510-5604 prior to the event for insurance verification and coverage. They accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, some UnitedHealthcare, and Cigna.
They charge a $10 per-vaccine-administration fee for those without insurance, but do not turn anyone away for inability to pay. Children on Medicaid/CHIP will need to bring their cards at the time of service. Cash or check only, check number must be #500 or greater.
