Visit Downtown Tyler Monday, Dec. 8, through Saturday, Dec. 13, for the annual Holiday Open House! Local businesses will expand their hours of operation and host various activities from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day. Be sure to visit the event page to see what holiday activities will be offered each night!
The Main Street Program will once again facilitate the beloved Nutcracker Scavenger Hunt, allowing families to explore the various Downtown Businesses while searching for a unique Nutcracker hidden at participating locations.
Physical Scavenger Hunt maps will be available at the Downtown Tyler Visitors Center, at 110 N. College Ave. Suite 105, and a link to the digital form will be posted on the Facebook event. After completing the game, participants must submit their digital form by Monday, Dec. 15 to be entered in a drawing for a few different prize baskets. During the Holiday Open House, be sure to see all the Holiday Windows decorated by our Downtown businesses! During the hunt for nutcrackers, be sure to cast your vote for your favorite decorated window by scanning the QR codes posted in business windows and engaging with our People’s Choice Facebook contest post. Voting ends Dec. 18. The People’s Choice prize is $200, and the Judges’ Choice prize is $300.
