December 6th-8th (Friday & Saturday at 7pm, Sunday at 2:30pm):
“Annie: The Musical”
Presented by the Bullard High School Theatre program, “Annie” is a Broadway musical based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip “Little Orphan Annie,” with music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin, and book by Thomas Meehan. This is the same charming musical about the orphans and Daddy Warbucks that we have all come to love.
On opening night of ‘Annie,’ December 6th, Bullard Theatre will be hosting a Kids’ Night at the Theatre! Students who participate will receive reserved seating for them and one guest, an ‘Annie’ t-shirt, a snack for the show, an autograph book, and a VIP pass to go backstage and meet and take pictures with the cast and crew. The cost for admission is $30 for this night. For more information contact kati.mckinney@bullardisd.net.
December 8th is Charity Night. This year Bullard Drama Club Officers have chosen Children’s Village of Texas as the charity for this performance. They will be taking up donations as well as donating half of the night’s proceeds to Children’s Village of Texas. ‘Children’s Village is a Christian children’s home that shares God’s love and strengthens our community by providing healing and hope for neglected and abused boys and girls.” Come help support Children’s Village of Texas and see a great production of “Annie.”
Bullard High School is located at 1426 S. Houston Street in Bullard. For more information go to facebook.com/events/436513740294648/. Tickets are $5 at the door.
