Rose City Artisan & Flower Market returns to Goodman Museum

Celebrate all things gardening at the 17th Annual Rose City Artisan and Flower Market, on Friday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the historic Goodman-LeGrand Museum.

This year’s theme is All Things Gardening for Garden Lovers. The event will feature artisan and plant vendors, guided garden tours and will be the final weekend to view the Antique Quilt and Embroidery Display inside the museum.

Smith County Master Gardeners will lead tours of the grounds at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. They will share what the Goodman family originally planted and how the City of Tyler and the Master Gardeners are working together to restore the greenhouse and bring back plants that were growing when the Goodman-LeGrand family lived there.

The Goodman-LeGrand Museum, located at 624 N. Broadway, will also be open for tours on both days. The museum’s regular hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A suggested $3 donation per person supports the daily operation of the museum. All donations are appreciated.
