August 17th (8am-5pm): Clear the Shelters – During the Clear the Shelters event in 2018, over 100,000 animals found forever homes. More than 1,200 shelters and rescues participated to connect animals with new, loving families across the country! NBC along with KETK NBC and Nexstar Media Group, Inc, are teaming up with hundreds of shelters across the country to host #ClearTheShelters, a nationwide pet adoption drive to help find loving homes for animals in need. More than 250,000 pets have found their forever homes since 2015. Be a part by adopting your new best friend!
