Stanley’s Famous Bar-B-Q is legendary for it’s delectable ribs, brisket, sausage and more but have you tried their breakfast?

We can not say enough good things about Stanley’s and recently we checked them out for breakfast. The Meat, Eggs & Cheese Burrito comes piled high with scrambled eggs, choice of one meat (we got brisket) and cheddar, all wrapped in a giant flour tortilla –  served piping hot. Pair this with a large cup of locally roasted Porch Culture Coffee and you have found a fantastic way to start your day. Plus, an added bonus – all this is under $6!

We also recommend the Breakfast Brother-In-Law. Our all-time go-to lunch/dinner sandwich “does breakfast” too. Stanley’s yummy grilled hot link is served with cheese and scrambled eggs on a bun.

Stanley’s also offersother breakfast burritos, a few sandwiches and bowl combinations Monday-Friday 7-10am.

Stanleys-BBQ-31From their website, “Stanley’s is the oldest operating Mom & Pop BBQ Joint in Tyler, Texas serving up true, pit smoked BBQ for over 50 years. Come try our perfect brisket, baby back ribs, turkey, chicken, fresh made sausage, and even pulled pork. Stanley’s also serves tacos, stuffed potatoes, frito pies, specialty sandwiches and even has vegetarian items. Our patio is heated and enclosed and also has a full bar featuring Texas craft beers and over 70 American whiskeys, bourbons, and ryes. We take pride to produce all our barbecue and sides fresh each day, so we occasionally sell out due to heavy and unanticipated guest traffic. Call ahead if you want to make sure we have something you’re looking for!”

Amen!

Stanley’s Famous Bar-B-Q is located at 525 S. Beckham in Tyler, stanleysfamous.com, (903)593-0311.

PS. Have you ever had the “”Baby Wade” Frito Pie?” OMG, this different take on frito pie is layers of fritos, cowboy beans, cheddar, Stanley’s famous brisket, and bbq sauce (regular or hot). You will never go back to standard frito pie after you have had this version.
